Imperial Austro-Hungarian Officers Tschapka

Imperial Austro-Hungarian Uhlan Officer Tschapka for the KuK 1st Uhlan Regiment. High elegant pattern of 1900, The helmet body made of Black lacquered leather with the upper part of the mortar board in red cloth. Gold Bullion Rank ribbon at the base of the mortar board with additional gold bullion Piping. All trim is fire gilt brass and in excellent  condition.

Both Laurel leaves Officers chinscales are held to the body with lion head rosettes. Fine Horse Hair black plume with the gilded FJ1 Cockade. A gold chain is holding the Haarbusch to the neck of the mortar board.The front visor is covered with a gold bullion band. The Front Plate is the Imperial Austrian Double Headed Eagle in Fire Gold with the number "1" in its center. Interior has a soft beige leather band with white silk lining in excellent but worn condition. An nice Tschapka in overall excellent condition. Amazing and rare piece from the glorious time before World War 1.
