Baden Landwehr Infantry Officers Pickelhaube

Baden Infantry Officer for Landwehr Regiments Model 1897. From and old collection. Black lacquered leather helmet body with fire gilded trim. Helmet body has excellent form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer is matte with age but otherwise in very fine condition. No extra holes in the helmet body. The helmet interior has sweat leather with silk headliner. The frontplate is the Baden Line Regiments Griffin without banner and with a silver Baden Landwehr cross on the Griffins breast with the "Fuerst" Motto. Officer style spike and base with star screw retainers. Flat Officer chinscales on rosettes. Officer style 2- piece Reich and Baden cockades. Excellent Landwehr Officer helmet in Excellent + condition at a bargain price.
