Bavarian Ersatz "Bing" black lacquered metal Pickelhaube

Great WW1 "Bing" with genuine use.

Bavarian Infantry Regiment black stamped metal  “Bing” ersatz helmet circa 1914. Black metal helmet body with polished brass trim.  The helmet body has excellent form but the exterior metal has seen WWI use and  has  numerous bumps (see photo). The interior of the helmet has black EM leather liner.  The inside of the helmet is painted black with the only markings identified are the red number 57 for  size.  No extra holes in the helmet body.  Front plate is the Bavarian frontplate that is attached to helmet with pin back brads. The trim including base/spike retains polished sheen. Brass brads at base of spike that are original “Bing” style. The spike is not removable. Original leather chinstrap. Bavarian and Reichs cockades. This helmet is original and untouched. Nice original helmet that shows genuine use and wear. Great WWI era Bing Bavarian helmet that is Bargain priced.
