Prussian Active Army Senior Administrative Officer before 1908 - helmet Model 1897 (**see below). The helmet is the dragoon style black Lacquered leather helmet body with squared front visor trim and crossed spike base. All the metal trim is silver. Helmet body in excellent condition with firm stitching. Exterior lacquer shows age but still is shiny. No extra holes in helmet body. The helmet normal for officer helmets. All metal trim is silver. The frontplate for the helmet is the Line Prussian Eagle with Banner. The helmet has a crossed Officer spike and base that is secured to the helmet body with silver stars. Rounded silver chinscales on silver rosettes. Officer Reichs and Prussian cockades. Outstanding helmet.
