Prussian Jäger Reserve Officers Shako

Prussian Reserve Jäger Officer Shako post 1899. All original shako. Officer quality black felt covered leather shako with gilded brass trim. The helmet body is in excellent shape with fine form and firm stitching. No extra holes in helmet body. The cloth portion of the shako is in excellent condition with no moth damage, note a small repair to tissue on the front (see pictures).

Interior has officer style sweat leather and silk headliner. The liner shows age and use but is in overall good condition. The frontplate is the Reserve Prussian Eagle without the Vaterland Bandeau in beautifull fire gilt finish with the silver reserve cross on its Tail. Flat chinscales on rosettes. Single Officer style Reichs cockade. Fine officer silver bullion with black center. 100% all original and untouched officer’s shako.
