Prussian Dragoon Officer Pickelhaube - Felt Construction. RARE

For Dragoner Regts. 4-6, 10, 12 & 15. Black laquered Felt helmet body in Mint condition. No flaw or cracks to lacquer with firm stitching to both visors. Silver Trim with Dragoon Officers held to Helmet body with nuts and screws. No extra holes. Tall silver spike that unscrews over crossbase. 4 gilt officers stars. Silver back spine.

Inside of the helmet is full officers with a red semi-leather (wartime production) and beige silk lining in mint condition. Some minor wear to the "Calfskin" type lining...but otherwise MINT. Gilt convex officers scales maintained by silver rosettes over a set of officer cockades. A rare variant of an officers helmet only seldomly found on the market. NEAR MINT!
