Prussian Grenadier Officers Pickelhaube - Mint.

Prussian Grenadier Regts. 2, 3,5, 6,10,11 or 12. Black lacquered leather helmet body in MINT condition with firm stitching to both visors. All trim is a matsching redish Gold colour. Including the officers round base with perlring maintained by 4 gilt stars and removable spike. 

The Frontplate is the large winged Prussian Grenadier Officers type  with pierced crown, held to helmet by two screws/nuts (one extra holes present when plate was switched from the Prussian Old Regiments' Eagle to the Large Winged Type between May 1897 and 1913).

Inside shows the full officers calfskin and green silk liner in near mint condition (larger size). Named inside shell to "Meyer" A set of GILT flat chinscales maintained by rosettes over the Reichs and State Cockades will complete this helmet. This guaranteed 100% to period. A beautifull and Rare helmet.
