Prussian Wartime Enlisted Uhlan Tschpaka

Prussian Field Gray Line Regiments Tschapka EM Model 1915. Another "Barn Find" from the Parker Collection. Rod Parker was an advanced Imperial WWI era Collector from the 1960's through 2000. He lived on the family ranch in rural Texas. Rod died suddenly in 2000. Sadly, his family put much of his collection in the barn outside the family home for over 20 years. We have a lot of stories. Ask us sometime when we meet up at a show. This helmet is a transition Model 1915 Prussian Line Regiments leather Tschapka. Leather helmet body in the Pre-War leather mortar board style. The helmet body has an excellent shape and firm stitching but has slightly shrunken with age. The exterior lacquer is intact with no damage. No extra holes in the helmet body. Full EM style black dyed leather liner. The liner is dry but complete. Mortar board has field badge (worn) and cord loop. No markings noted. Missing chinstrap and Reichs cockade. Bargain priced.
