Anhalt Infantry Regt. 93 Officers Pickelhaube

Anhalt 93rd Infantry Regiment - Officer Model 1897. Beautiful and rare helmet. Black lacquered black pressed felt helmet body with gilded brass trim. The helmet body in excellent condition with perfect form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer is in excellent condition with a bright exterior finish. No extra holes in helmet body. Interior has sweat leather and silk headliner. The headliner is in near mint condition.
Inner visors red and green as is normal for officer helmets. All metal trim is gilded brass. The frontplate for the helmet Prussian style line eagle with the banner “Mit Gott fur Fuerst und Vaterland”. On the eagle’s breast is a silver star with the Coat of Arms of Anhalt in the center. Officer style round spike and base. Gold stars secure the spike base to helmet body. Flat style chinscales on gold rosettes. Standard Reichs and all green Anhalt cockades. All original and rare regimental helmet.  The helmet is all original and uncleaned.
